Who OEMs Palm LifeDrive and Palm TX and Palm Treo? I'm of the
understanding the Palm only licenses the OS but the units themselves
are manufactured by other companies?

not reliable 2 cents.

<a href="http://www.palm.com/us/">Palm, Inc.</a> and <a
href="http://palmsource.com/index.html">PalmSource</a> are two
different companies. Palm, Inc. makes and sells the hardware.
PalmSource makes the Palm OS. PalmSource was <a
href="http://ir.palmone.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=105423&p=irol-irhome">
spun</a> off into a completely seperate company from Palm in 2003.

If the OEMs for LifeDrive, TX, and Treo aren't Palm then it doesn't
have anything to do with the OS because the OS isn't made by Palm.

By the word OEM in your question, does this mean that you want to know
who really build these 3 products for Palm?
