Dear Fred,
Before I forget, add "United Kingdom" as the last line of the address.
Fred, I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom. And what timing - how do
the powers-that-be do that, anyway? At least you sound in better
spirits now and have managed to resolve some of your issues. I'm glad.
It's really nice to hear from you after so long, you had me worried
there for awhile. I bet you are now an "expert" on Tenncaid and
Medicaid - they should hire you as a consultant!
Thank you for the tip, Fred - here's a big hug for you. And get that
gift in the mail soon so I don't have to worry about whether it will
arrive in time for Christmas.
Enjoy your turkey and all of the trimmings.
Take care,
hummer

Thanks Hummer !
My pal Ian complained to me on the phone yesterday from Leeds that he keeps
buying deoderant all the time because of "senior moments" ( gimme a break
he's 26 !) and has a "stockpile" of deoderant at home.
Youul never guess what his present is !
I
AM EVIL:)
Happy Thanksgiving

Hi Fred,
I'm glad to hear he uses deodorant rather than antiperspirants. How
about sending him some homemade stuff, packaged in a nifty Dollar
Store container?
"Most people think that antiperspirants and deodorants are the same
thing, but they aren?t. Antiperspirants work by clogging, closing, or
blocking the pores with powerful astringents such as aluminum salts so
that they can?t release sweat. (Note that aluminum can accumulate in
the brain.) Deodorants work by neutralizing the smell of the sweat and
by antiseptic action against bacteria. Deodorants are preferable
because they don?t interfere with sweating, a natural cooling
process."
* Basic Deodorant Powder
1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup cornstarch
a few drops essential oils such as lavender or cinnamon

I was def. careful to get a deoderant so that he gets the "joke" as he
used the word deoderant on the phone...I also wanted to use one made
by a unilever
co as he used to work for them.
Interesting on how to make natural
The problem is: If US or UK customs opens the package enroute...
and sees an un-identified powder traveling thru US or British mails....
ah it could be a problem ! :))
thanks !

Good morning, Fred,
Good point, although it could make a rather interesting Christmas tale
to tell in years to come, about how Fred's cinnamon powder got
confiscated and finally arrived in time for Easter stamped "Safe to
Eat"!
8-)

Hi Fred! Holy cow, I've never even been off of our continent, let
alone around the world. Lucky you. You take care of yourself and come
home safely.
Bon voyage and Happy Holidays,
hummer
p.s You should've put "Do Not Open Till Christmas" on the package!
