Hello Ossi,

I found a plethora of schools that cater to English as a Second
Language students. I compiled a list of 9 that looked promising and
meet your criteria. I also found two other sites that list recommended
schools. Near the end of the answer I included several sites that help
you decide on a "good" school, along with tips for learning English.

Hi again! I just came across another list of schools. I'm sure there
is some redundancy, but you'll find "new" schools too!

Good Luck, Crabcakes

Thank you !! I am looking at all the links you send me, wondering
if it is really for adults. Do they have a short course like a somer
school.

Hi Ossi,

The nine that I posted are for adults. (By adult, I mean over 18. I
saw no age restrictions over 18. Many describe short courses, and
some have classes that focus on business or medical English as well.

Your best bet for more specific information would be to e-mail or
call the schools that appeal to you, and ask what the age range of the
students are. I'm sure you will find a broad range of ages in the
student bodies.

  Regards, Crabcakes

Crabcakes,
Did you intend to include a link in your first clarification?

Here is another school, one with summer courses:
http://www.swandean.co.uk/oxford/course.htm

And here another one:
http://www.study-languages-abroad.com/english_language_course_oxford.php

I was searching with: oxford "english course"
because I know that there is a recognized test for English competence
that has Oxford in its name.

Maybe this was the site that Crabcakes was referring to:
http://www.study-languages-abroad.com/english_language_course_oxford.php

It looks quite helpful.

Good luck, Myoarin
