I'm mexican I remember the bills and coins used in 1981 and I can tell you that they're complete USELESS today. Mexico had serious a depreciattion of the peso from 1981 until 1994, and furthermore what before 1993 was 1000 pesos, became 1 new peso, and now we call it simply 1 peso. In 1981 you could buy a car in 300,000 old pesos, the equivalent to 2006 300 pesos, With 300 pesos today the best that you can do is buy about 55 beers. |

Next time, avoid Currants and invest in Raisins. |
