I'm mexican I remember the bills and coins used in 1981 and I can tell
you that they're complete USELESS today. Mexico had serious a
depreciattion of the peso from 1981 until 1994, and furthermore what
before 1993 was 1000 pesos, became 1 new peso, and now we call it
simply 1 peso. In 1981 you could buy a car in 300,000 old pesos, the
equivalent to 2006 300 pesos, With 300 pesos today the best that you
can do is buy about 55 beers.

Next time, avoid Currants and invest in Raisins.
