Ok. this is what I have come up with..... Golfers spent $24.3 billion in 2002 on equipment and fees. They spent $19.7 billion on public and private green fees and dues in 2002, which accounted for 81 percent of all spending. They spent $4.7 billion on equipment (clubs, balls, bags, gloves, shoes). THe site is terrific and If you are doing any extensive research about golf. this is a good site. http://www.ngf.org/cgi/home.asp This site is the site for all golf consumer info. They offer reports, industry peices etc. You need to pay a small fee to join and since it's saturday i cannot get in touch with them. I have gotten the initial info, if you want i will dig deeper. But this is where you are gonna get all the info you need. |
