I am looking for a site that overlays crime statistics on maps so that
I can graphically see how risky certain
subdivisions/neighborhoods/areas are in Atlanta and surrounding
counties (Fulton, Dekalb, Cobb, Gwinnett, Forsyth, Cherokee, Paulding,
Clayton, Hall, etc.) Free sites are best, but services with low
per-search or low monthly fees are ok.

I'm really looking for something like this:
http://www.georgia-sex-offenders.com/maps/
but for crime. (Use the drop down at the upper right to select different cities)

This is also an example, but it only appears to work for Atlanta city
limits. I would like to be able to search other areas as in the sex
offender example above:
http://www.atlantapd.org/index.asp?nav=CrimeMapping
(Use "10th" in the street address if you need an example)

Simple lists of crime statistics by area are not good enough:
http://www.ganet.org/gbi/gbistat2.cgi
from:
http://www.ganet.org/gbi/gbistat1.html
That doesn't tell me anything useful.

Basically, this is a "How safe is my neighborhood" type question, but
I want to be able to search different neighborhoods or cities in the
Atlanta area.

If what I want is not out there, I'll settle for a site that gives you
a sliding scale on how likely you are to be a target of crime in your
area (searchable by street address or zip code)

Thanks and good luck.

It's been over a week with no response. Is the question too hard, not
priced correctly, in the wrong category, or is the information I'm
looking for not on the web?
