Do I need a fire exit in a room containing printers in the UK? The size of the room is 15 feet x 6 feet and will contain 5 printers. |

some guidance below - it's hard to say exactly what applies in your case as the rules depend on building use. The values 18m and 110cm values I've heard before for places of employment. Bieng in the fire protection industry the room size is to small to put in anothr exit anyway. The only thing you need is the right type of extinguisher for your application. I am assuming that you would need at least one ABC extinguisher which is rated for papr fires. If you want to protect it more you can try Halon or C02. Hope this helps |
