The container will consist of 4,000 gallons of paint. The merchandise
will be coming from sarasota florida going to Monterry Mexico. I want
the container to go over the water in a 40 foot container (i do not
want it to enter mexico by land because it would be an added expence).

What package type (eg, 5-gallon buckets, buckets in crates, etc.) is
your paint in? What is the approx. weight of all 4,000 gallons of
paint? I'm finding company web sites that advertise international sea
freight shipping and online quote forms are available for input;
before I proceed, I'm wondering if were there specific
problems/reasons why the companies you spoke with wouldn't ship your
goods? In other words, is there a special condition I need to know
when contacting the companies I'm finding? Thanks! - Deepseep

The paint will e in 1 gallon pails. The weight is 40,000 lb.
The reason i have been having trouble was because the shipping
companies i contacted diddnt provide service between florida and
mexico by water. All the shipping companies wanted to travel over the
ground. I know there is service between florida and mexico, i just
dont know who provides it.

I answered this question after EOB (end of business) on Friday,
01/27/06, so all information I gathered was strictly through the (11)
businesses web sites; each of those 11 forwarders touts sea/ocean
freight shipping worldwide, with one of those specifically stating "to
the world's major ports," which sounds more limited than the other 10.
I can place confirmation calls to each of the 11 companies I've
itemized during business hours tomorrow (Monday, 01/30/06) to solidify
this answer.
As I stated above in the "answer" section, the unnumbered list of
Florida "FL" companies below the first numbered (11) companies are
unresearched, but I included them (and the link I found them at) for
your information/future reference for any additional
transportation/shipping needs you may have. Therefore, as stated,
those are "extra" and I don't/didn't claim those to offer internation
sea/ocean freight forwarding.
Look for my clarification post on Monday. Thanks for your

Please confirm that they all ship from florida to mexico over the
water. I am familiar with many diffrent shipping companies, but they
dont go over the water between florida and mexico.
