I am trying to locate either the code for a universal remote control
or possibly one of the company's remotes for a DVD player I bought.
The company's name is Classic, and the model number is MA137D01620. It
works, but I am having a hard time trying to get a remote to work with
it. I haven't even had any success locating the company that makes the
DVD player.

This is a free comment from a non-GA Researcher. As the cost of DVD
players quickly approach the cost of higher-end remote controls,

perhaps adjusting your search might be an option?

Don't you just hate it when you can't find some off the wall brands
website. Well i hope this is what you are looking for it. It dosen't
have your dvd player listed but it is the only one i could come up
with as classic.

Thanks for the speedy replies. David, you did manage to find the
company that made the DVD player I have. I checked the support
section, and I did find a player there that closely resembles the unit
I have (the only difference being the logo on the left hand side).
Unfortunately, they didn't list the remote code, and suggested I try
and find the code from the company that makes the universal remote.

I had no idea DVD players were so cheap nowadays. Mine was used, but
still under the prices listed at Froogle. With the price of a
universal remote, though, it comes to about the same for new. Guess I
should be less impulsive when I shop. ;-)
