Under English Law, Section 22 of the Theft Act 1968 states that a criminal offence is committed where: A person handles stolen goods if knowing or believing them to be stolen goods he (she):- Dishonestly receives the goods; or Dishonestly undertakes or assists in their retention, removal, disposal or realisation by or for the benefit of another person; or If he agree to do so. This offence is punishable by a term of up to 14 years imprisonment. |
