I want to shoot a six hour language teaching program on a digital
video meant for home TV and to be distributed by NTSC DVD. The
programs will be shot both indoors and outdoors, but mostly indoors
(home, restaurant, office). Good audio is very important - after all
it is about teaching a language. (Think a sitcom like Friends.) I
plan to use 2-3 camcorders (one for master, two for coverage) to
minimize takes.
I need to choose a camcorder keeping in mind the distribution format
and medium (DVD FOR HOME TV). I have read reviews of a few camcorders
(Canon XL2, Sony DSR PD170, Sony FX1, Sony Z1, JVC HD100, Panasonic
AG-DVX100B, Panasonic HVX200 etc).
Please suggest a suitable professional camcorder - a camcorder that
has what I need but I don't want to pay for features that I will not
need. |
