Hello,

I would like to set up a chatroom where I can allow multiple users.
The purpose of the chatroom is to teach a language. I am only aware
of paltalk that allows a reasonably large no. of users, could you
provide me with some advice on a comparison between the products on
the market for setting up a group session also allowing users to talk
(voice over ip) - video is not essential for what we are planning.
Also an idea of pricing would be very useful. Details of capacity -
i.e. no. of users, and compatibility would also be appreciated. We
are likely to have anywhere between 50 to 400+ users but we are not
sure at the moment so are just doing some initial market research.

Kind Regards,
Raheel

Sry, one thing I wanted to add was the format of the lesson. It would
predominantly be the teacher going through various rules and giving
examples and at the end of the lesson students could ask questions.
Therefore, if there is a product which allows broadcast to unlimited
users without users being able to interact - I would like to know
about this and consider as an option - I am not sure if Paltalk allows
this. The preference though would be a product that allows users to
talk also.

Hello, just updating you on my own research...

two products that I have looked into recently are Webex (Event Center
product) and Paltalk - Deluxe package. The main requirement is audio
with video as a preference which Paltalk covers but Webex seems quite
an interesting product also. Cost is going to be one consideration
with Paltalk close to $600 per month (which we are prepared to pay).
