Hi, I was interested in having a list (maybe 5-7 drugs...or at least
as many as you can find) instances in the last 10-15 years where a
drug company launched a drug at a high price or it raised a price on
an existing drug - so much so that the price raise/launch resulted in
"media outrage".
Of course, media outrage is an ambiguous term, but what I mean is
front-page listing in a major publication such as the Wall Street
Journal or New York Times. To give you an examples of two drug price
raises that have resulted in outrage, consider Abbott Labs 'Norvir'
product Pfizer?s Xalatan product-- two products which when their
prices were raised rec'd some buzz from the media.
Again, **all I'm looking for a list of drugs that have prompted media
outrage**. You don't have to do any more additional research (though I
wouldn't be too upset if you did). :) A list will be fine; I'll do the
research on them myself and see what is appropriate for my purposes.
This is my first time using Google Answers, but if the answer is good,
I'll see if there is a way to definitely "tip" you...i.e.,give you a
little more $.
Thank you! |
