Thanks for your message, Jon.
The Portland Gallery in London acts as exclusive representative of
Jack Vettriano, and is a good source for earlier paintings being
resold as well as for new work. The most recent exhibition of new
paintings is completely sold out, but the gallery is handling some
"private sales" of work from the 1990s.
These are the paintings currently on offer:

Vettriano paintings may be on sale next year at the Haughton's 20c art
fair in New York.

Previously his work has been exhibited at the Armory.

"Vettriano?s work was shown for the first time in New York, when
twenty paintings were displayed at The International 20th Century Arts
Fair at The Armory. " (in 1999)

I'm afraid I've been unable to find any US galleries with original
Vettrianos for sale. Sotheby's and other auction houses have sold some
in the UK, but I didn't find any information about auction sales of
Vettriano in the US. His work sells well in his native Scotland as
well as in England, and this may mean the UK is the focus for trading
in his paintings.
You could consider a one-day subscription to ArtPrice.com ($15) to see
if there are any US dealers who regularly handle Vettriano's work.

I hope this is helpful, but please let me know if I can clarify anything.

Search strategy
I was fairly sure that Vettriano was represented by one particular
London gallery so my main search was:
Vettriano exclusively represented
://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=vettriano+exclusively+represented&btnG=Google+Search&meta=
I then tried many other searches to try to find US-based possibilities
for you, but found nothing except one or two rather deceptive websites
selling copies of Vettriano's work in a slightly misleading way. |
