Hi djangovn, there are a few good books on the history of Rolling
Stone magazine out there.

One of them is "Rolling Stone, The Uncensored History" by Robert
Draper as well as "Gone Crazy and Back Again" by Robert Sam Anson.
Both are very good reads. HTH.
