I would like to know the manufacturer's name for metal art deco desk lamps. The one I have has a textures brown finish on the base, stems and shade and is trimmed with chrome. It has a small, metal box on the cord, marked Trans Radionic Chicago Ill. This is either a transformer or a ballast for a flourescent light. I saw something similar on TV and cannot remember the name. It may be something like garrand?? |

Can you please give any more descriptive information you have about the lamp, such as shape, figures, color, or anything else? Thanks. |

Does your lamp resemble any of these? http://www.radiomania.com/radiomania.com/pages/lampstr2.html |

The reference to "stems" in the plural, and the presence of a transformer, make me curious whether this may be a similar lamp: http://www.radiomania.com/radiomania.com/lamps-l/2xw%26cl.jpg Further info will be greatly appreciated; without a more precise description, we are searching in the dark, so to speak. |
