The words for translation:

Grosses, das in?s Herz gedrungen,
Bluht dann neu und schon empor,
Hat ein Geist sich aufgeschwungen,
Hall?t ihm stets ein Geisterchor.

Thanks

Dear mdriscoll7,

I have taken the liberty to slightly correct the German lines by using
umlauts and an 'ß' where appropriate and by omitting two apostrophs.
Then, I have translated the lines into English with the intention to
stick as closely as possible to the meaning of the German words:

Großes, das ins Herz gedrungen,
Blüht dann neu und schön empor,
Hat ein Geist sich aufgeschwungen,
Hallt ihm stets ein Geisterchor.

Greatness that permeated the heart,
Then blooms anew and beautifully,
When a mind has exalted,
A chorus of spirits always sounds for it.

I hope this is what you needed!
Best regards,

Thank you so much. I spent so much time this weekend trying to find
the translation. It is just what I needed and thanks for the editing.
