I am looking for a book I used to own about 18 years ago. It was about
making musical instruments out of cardboard. It had bits of card
pre-cut, that you popped out and then folded and glued to make an
instrument. Some of the instruments were an Ocarina and a Bullroarer.
I would like to know if this book is still available or what there is
available which is similar.

samurai --

This book was published in 2000, but it just might fit the bill for
you. Indeed, it could be by the same author as the one you remember,
because he apparently has produced other maje-your-own instrument
books.

Take a look at the description of the book and the reader reviews, and
let me know if this would suit your purposes:

Amazon.com: Cool Cardboard Instruments to Make & Play, by Dennis Waring
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1895569621/qid%3D1101769986/sr%3D11-1/ref%3Dsr%5F11%5F1/104-7245599-1374367

You also might want to review the results of a Google search on the
title of the book, linked here, for further information and opinions
about the book:

"cool cardboard instruments to make"
22cool+cardboard+instruments+to+make%22

Let me know what you think. If it does not suit your purposes, I
would be happy to keep looking.

I also found this book when I did a rudimentary search, but it is not
the one. The instruments to make in it are too complicated. The book I
remember contained simple pop out bits of card that you could fold up
and glue together, without having to buy the materials yourself. I
hope this information proves helpful.

It looks like the Google search link I provided may not work for you.
If it doesn't, try this one instead.

22cool+cardboard+instruments+to+make%22

If this one doesn't work either, just type "cool cardboard instruments
to make" [in quotes] in the Google search box.
