Looking to find the name of an old movie from the 60's (I believe).
It was in color, if that means anything, and I believe it aired on the
Disney Channel back in the late 80's.

The things I can remember:
 - Couple of kids have a treehouse and have tons of dirt clods and
fights with kids below.
 - There's a spooky haunted house.
 - There is a farmer who sits up in his loft at night with his
shotgun. All of this so he can keep an eye out for those who are
stealing his watermelons.
 - There's the "mother of all melons" in the middle of the pasture.
The kids steal it, eat it, and feel bad. One kid gathers up the seeds
and takes it to the old farmer, who shows the kid he only had rocksalt
in the shotgun.

Any idea what it was called?

Hello.

The movie was "For the Love of Willadean" (1964).

From the Internet Movie Database:

"Nostalgic tale of two brothers and their new neighbor, who all fight
over the attentions of the pretty girl in the farmhouse down the road;
the girl's name is Willadean. Prize winning watermelons and a house
reputed to be haunted figure in the plot line."
