or newspapers, i own a small magazine and need feature articles for

Somebody will probably answer your question directly.
I just wanted to share an idea with you:

Instead of looking for web sites,brokering such articler, why don't
you look for freelance projects web sites and post what you need
there. I mean, there is an overwhelming amount of people, making their
living as freelance journalists (also see the association) and they
will probably write articles for you (after your approval and
according to your requirments). Thus you won't have to hire anybody ,
but will be able to use the expertise of many experienced journalists
on a case-by-case basis.

If you're looking for articles on the subject of journalism there may
be plenty of them when you search Google for "ezine articles." You may
be interested in my website. I do a heck of a lot of editing of
articles by people more than willing to sell them.
