Forgetting Anna, are there any well documented examples of some dotty old man or woman who has deluded him/her-self into thinking that he/she was somebody famous? I'm not thinking of apparently fraudulent claimants e.g. Tichborne. |

Spontaneously, I'm thinking of Joshua A. Norton, the "Emperor of America". But that is, of course, not exactly the same as with Anna Anderson. Scriptor |
