mmahoney, Transport Life Insurance Company was acquired by Conseco, Inc. "Conseco, Inc., the parent company to CONSECO SENIOR, acquired American Travellers Life Insurance Company and Transport Life Insurance Company in December of 1996. After the acquisition, American Travellers' and Transport Life's respective books of business remained with those companies. Transport Life merged into American Travellers in November of 1997, and American Travellers changed its name to CONSECO SENIOR in July of 2001." http://sec.edgar-online.com/2004/04/21/0001224608-04-000010/section6.asp About Conseco ?>?Company Profile ?> Acquisitions http://www.conseco.com/conseco/selfservice/about/cprofile/acquisitions.jhtml?cat=cprofile&subcat=acq Transport Life Insurance Company - Company History https://wwwapps.tdi.state.tx.us/pcci/pcci_show_profile.jsp?tdiNum=83700#HISTORY Contact page for Conseco Senior Health Insurance Company: https://www.conseco.com/conseco/selfservice/contactus/contactUsDetail.jhtml?nav=cu&prodId=200009&compId=1100006 Search strategy: "Transport Life Insurance" "fort worth" "conseco senior health" "transport life" "Conseco Senior Health" merger OR merge "transport life" "transport holdings" conseco I hope this helps. jackburton-ga |
