Hey there,
I work for an executive search firm that places high-level
professionals at top financial companies. I have a special project
I'm working on that I'm having a bit of trouble on. What I have to do
is compile a list of people who will fit the descriptions of the job,
which are as of follows:
TAX REVIEW PROFESSIONALS
Experience Required
? 3 + years individual tax background, at an accounting firm or in house background
? Ability to review sophisticated high net worth tax returns
? Strong analytical and communication skills
? Experience with gift, trust, estate, and fiduciary tax returns a plus
? CPA, EA or advanced degree a plus, but not necessary
? Familiarity with BNA and FastTax is a plus
Responsibilities
? Advise financial counselors on client tax-compliance issues
? Review of complex federal and multi-state tax returns for high net-worth clients
? Pro-active approach toward analysis and resolution of client tax matters
? Client base comprises corporate executives, business owners, and family groups
The Company/Opportunity
? Nationally recognized leader in fee based high net worth financial counseling
? Integrate into a substantial, growing internal tax function
? Ability to take on special projects and additional responsibilities
to enhance career growth
? Competitive salary & bonus, comprehensive relocation package
? Suburban location, excellent schools, located north of New York City
There are three positions as a tax reviewer open in a large firm in
Albany. Therefore, I must compile a list of people either near Albany
or in big cities somewhat nearby like Boston, Columbus, Philadelphia,
Detroit, New York, Hartford, Cleveland, Cincinnati, etc. Basically,
what I need is either a list or access to a database that can provide
a list of qualified professionals (CPA, EA, etc) in large northeast
cities.
Please note, in my research I have found many small business owners.
People who have small businesses are not very likely to move to Albany
for this position. Therefore, I need a list of people who currently
work for firms. Obviously, the larger the firm, the better. Many
thanks and I look forward to seeing what you can find. Thanks!!

Hey,
Thank you for your quick response.
When I say I need to compile a list of people, I need to get names and
phone numbers and know enough about them that they could handle such a
position (even if it's just by having a credential like CPA or EA next
to their name).
Therefore, what would be a really great response worthy of a nice tip
actually would be if you were able to provide/find this type of
information, meaning name, number, and what city they're from so we
have a better idea of the likelihood it can work out. However, I'm not
sure if you're allowed to post this kind of information, I mean I
don't see why not because it's obviously available on the internet,
but I don't know all of Google's rules.
So, if you can find and post the names, numbers, and cities (not as
necessary) of potential candidates that would be ideal and really what
I need.
However, if you're not able to do that and you can only provide me
with links to a database or a site that has people who have posted
resumes or something I don't really think that's necessarily what I
need. The only reason for that is because that really doesn't help me
in terms of finding actual people and their information like I
mentioned earlier. If, however, you come across a site that has a
whole listing of tax professionals that appear would qualify but
instead of posting the names and numbers you can only post the site
URL then that's ok too.
I'll leave it up to you... I can change the price if you see you can't
provide me with that much... You know I believe know my real needs
(names, numbers, citeis), and based on how well you can provide/find
such information we shall go from there.
Thanks so much CZH for your quick response and your diligent work and research.
Much thanks,
MSG
