I'm looking for a movie title, perhaps British made, but diffinately
set in England, about an older couple, perhaps 70's, re-meeting and
having an affair after each had been married.  They had first been
lovers in their teen,each went their own way and when the mans wife
dies, he looks up this first love and they rekindle the relationship.

"Innocence", with Julia Blake and Charles Tingwell.

Oh, I sure hope Rainbow is right.  If the movie you're thinking about
* isn't * INNOCENCE, it ought to be.  It's a wonderful film by one of
the most important writer/directors in Australian
cinema, Paul Cox.  (The story is set in Australia, not England, by the way.)
