I need the wt. of the 3rd slider (the back one that changes the weight
by 10g per move). It is missing from my "OHAUS triple beam balance".
This one has the numbers 4003 and 4004 on it; and "PAT.-1732612". I
have the middle slider (it changes the weight by 100g per move), and I
have the front slider (it changes the weight by 1g per unit move or
1/10g etc.). I believe I could make a replacement for the missing back
slider if I knew it's exact weight (the scale was my dads and is
sentimetal to me).

You want a weight 1/10 as heavy as the 100g per move slider (assuming
the spacing of the notches on the 10g scale and 100g scale are equal).
