I am interested in determining how much cash infusion eBay has
required from conception all the way to the stage where it was both
large scale and profitable. I can see from the S1 filing in 1998 that
it received about $7.5m pre-IPO but then it was still a small company
and I assume some of the IPO proceeds were used to fund growth - I
need to comprehensive number.

In other words, the question could be: how much money would it take
someone to build and market eBay from scratch, if eBay didn't exist?

Thanks!
