I wanted to know what the standard principle was for large companies
regarding AP payment issues. If an invoice from a vendor states that
payment is supposed to be net 30, is that from the date of the
invoice, or the date recieved by the company? If payment terms are
net 45, is that from the moment the vendor licks a stamp, with payment
recieved at their door within 45 days, or does the countdown clock
start once it is(assuming it is stamped the day recieved)recieved by
the company.
