Is it possible for a loan company, mortage company, bank, etc... to
access your income tax records which are on file with the IRS for
income verification? If so, what type of information can they access
exactly? If I overstate my income on my loan application being
self-employed can they verify it with the IRS? I have no 1099 issued
to me in my line of work.
