I am a US citizen and am currently in Barcelona. I'm looking for cheap airfare back home for April 29. The date might be flexible within a few days before or after. When I flew over here, I got a one-way ticket for around $280 including all taxes and fees through cheaptickets.com. However, almost all the discount airline sites (STA travel, studentuniverse, expedia, travelocity, etc.) do not sell tickets originating in Europe and going to the US. I have found some round trip tickets from BOS to BCN with a return on April 29th for the mid $500s, yet any one way ticket I've found from BCN to BOS is much more expensive than that. I'm looking for sites that search for cheap airfare that allow a one way ticket originating in Europe. So far, I have found cheaptickets.com and faremax.com which allow this search option, but neither have tickets that are very resonably priced. Could you please find some other sites that allow this search? Also, if you can find any airfare that is cheaper than $400 (including taxes and fees), I'll give an additional $15 tip. Thanks. |

Since a round-trip ticket is cheaper than one-way, have you thought about buying a round-trip ticket and then never using the return part of the ticket? You'd just have to be sure to use the first leg and skip the return. If you skip the first leg, the return part would be automatically canceled. |

I had thought about that, but it has the same problem with the one way ticket. Most of the sites I've found don't let you chose flights that originate in Europe, whether it's one way or both ways. I didn't know that the return part would be automatically cancelled if I skipped the flight there. That's a good thing to know. |

Thanks, I'll check this out. I found another company similar to it, www.airtech.com that I was thinking of using, but this one could be a possibility as well. I'm not leaving until the end of April, but when I go, I'll post and let you know how well it worked. |

I ended up using AirHitch. Worked great and saved a lot of money. The customer service before I bought a voucher was horrendous, but once it was bought, it was infinately better. |
