I have a Sony display model # SDM-HS94P that has two video cables. One the HD-15 supports analog video and is connected. The other DVI-D is a digital cable but is not supported by my Gateway 420GR computer. What must I do to create support for the DVI-D cable? |

http://forums.devhardware.com/archive/t-14709 seems to say that you probably won't see much of a difference between VGA and DVI-D. Personally, I'd suggest you make certain you have a video card (http://froogle.google.com/froogle?q=dvi+video&btnG=Search+Froogle) that can support the monitor, rather than try to get a VGA to DVI-D converter/cable. |
