what do the eperts say about how often and how much the Feds will
raise the prime rate in the next 6 months?

The Fed does not set the prime rate. 

The Fed sets the Federal Funds Rate = Rates banks charge each other overnight

The Fed also set the Discount Rate = Rates Fed charges Banks for direct loans
http://www.forecasts.org/disc.htm

Although, the Feds actions usually cause changes in the Prime Rate
that Banks charge their best customers
