Here's one for you dedicated Proust fans. I am interested in his Remembrance of Things Past (In Search of Lost Time), but I prefer not to trudge through all 4,200 pages in printed form. I prefer to find an unabridged audio version of the book (cassette, CD, MP3, or downloadable) that I can listen to instead. The only one I've found in the common places (Ebay, Half.com, Amazon) runs about $200 + to buy. There is a $5 tip if you can locate a complete audio version (used is fine) to buy or rent for $50 or less. |
