The world that humans are born into is vast, full of complexity, and so much that is unknown and unknowable. Even the greatest human minds are not able to grasp and comprehend its vastness and complexity. Humans have a range of possible responses to this inadequacy of the mind to fully comprehend the world it has been born into. Among them are awe/humility and fear/denial. Belief systems, including religion, play an important part in this. I would like to read more about this. What Internet resources point to expert work done on this human condtion and the various human responses to it? | |
