The film is in French. There is a PAL edition which is subtitled in
Russian, but I have found no mention of a version with English
subtitles. I hesitate to post my findings as an official answer, since
I can't guarantee the English version that you desire. How would you
like to proceed?

I was so pleased to get the answer to my question. I was captivated
with the film and wanted a copy for myself. I do my own research, but
got nowhere.  I have ordered the film and it is on it's way. So many,
