>>cheaptickets.com allows you to do searches of the type you describe.
>>Just click on flexible search.

Thank you!! Looks like it does airfare only. Can it add hotels
to the search? Or is there another website I can do these flexible
searches including airfare & hotel?

Original question:
>Are there any travel websites that let me customize searches &
>newsletter subscriptions in the following ways?

>I'm flexible on departure & return dates when booking airfare.
>I want to find a good price. Not specific dates.
>When I go to websites like expedia.com, kayak.com, etc
>they require specific departure & return dates.

A typical search I want to be able to do is:
"City1 to City2, for 7 to 10 days, anytime in monthX, sort by price"
or
"City1 to City2, for 7 to 10 days, anytime between date1 & date2, sort by price"
or
"City1 to City2, for 7 to 10 days, anytime between date1 & date2, less
than $1000, sort by price"
