spec reel put together by prospective Director?  Where can i send my
spec reel in hops of aquiring directing work in los angeles?

Hello,

   To my knowledge, the conventional way that (unknown) directors are
hired in Los Angeles/Hollywood is through an agent, essentially the
same way as actors & crew.
