Hi lightbulb1, There is no built-in mechanism in the Yahoo! Web mail client to delay sending an option. Even with an email client like Outlook Express you may not actually predefine what time a message to send to. The only solution to such a problem may be with an Information Management tool, which allows you to set reminders and upon its expiry allows you to do various things as per your liking, such as sending an email. With the Yahoo web based email interface your only solution is to use a facility called "Drafts". What you may do is, if you do not have enough information ready for a reply, but you have some parts of it, you may compose a message (mail) and save it in "Drafts" folder instead of sending it. Saving a message in the Drafts folder can bring you many advantages including these: (1) Compose messages on part information and complete it later. (2) Compose messages with some of the attachments and add more later if you are facing a network bandwidth issue. (3) Allow a reviwer to review your message before it is sent. (Useful in case an account is accessed by many persons working together as a team). So, in my opinion, you may use this feature of saving a message as Draft and it can be beneficial for you in many ways. Your clarifications are most welcome! |

You could try using an automation tool that can automate tasks. Macro Scheduler automation tool (says "This automation software is the ideal tool whether you need to launch certain applications at certain times of the day, send and receive email": http://www.mjtnet.com/ Freeware automation tool (not sure if you can specify time with this): http://pricelessware.org/thelist/dev.htm#Automation:%20Batch%20Files Application schedulers...didn't read up on these much myself though. http://www.softlookup.com/category.asp?ID=136 Hope this helps. |
