These should be relatively simple for a cryptography expert to answer:

1. Can RC4 be used in either CBC or ECB mode?
2. Can a 128-bit AES key be used to encrypt a 1024-bit RSA key?

Thanks!

rman53,

See B-Con's post - it should answer your first question:
http://forums.devshed.com/security-and-cryptography-17/can-rc4-be-used-in-either-cbc-or-ecb-mode-318225.html

See Note 1 - it should answer your second question
http://www.rsasecurity.com/rsalabs/node.asp?id=2004#note1

Does that work for you?
