Question ID: 437414
I need to get a list of every realtor, every Bankrupcty lawyer and
every CPA in the United States with their address. I know i can go on
realtor.com and look up realtors by state, then i have to go to each
individual website or weblink to look up their address. I know how to
get what i am requesting but at a very large expense of time. Can you
find some database or State website that can give you the name of the
person and their business address. To help you understnad what i need
ill tell you why i need it. I am prperaing a large mass mail marketing
campaign. And these 3 types of professions are my target audience. so
i want to send them something in the mail, all of them in the united
states. Well all except those in alaska and louisana and mississippi.
Those 3 states i dont need. I am having my assistant prepare the
mailers but i dont have any names and address for her to send them too
and thats where google answers comes along. please help me find a very
efficent and fast way to get a list of names and address for realtors,
BK lawyers and Certified Public Accoutants.

Nancy,

To do a mailing to, say, 100,000 realtors, CPAs and lawyers, I'm
assuming you have a good chunk of money to spend....this is at least a
$25,000 project, probably much more.

Can you let us know how much is budgeted for purchasing mailing lists?
With some budget parameters, we can then find appropriate lists you
can rent for a one-time mailing.

Thanks,

pafalafa-ga

are you serious 25k for what. there is no data base online. I dont
want to hire a company to send out the mailiers. i have the envelopes,
the letters and the stamps. My assitant will be doing that stuff. I
just need the names and addresses of the three professions i stated
before. yeah money is not an object but isnt the information i am
asking public info. There isnt some fast and efficent way to get what
i need on the web. Basically i am looking for a way to do it online.
if your going to refer me to another company that is going to do what
iam asking you to help me do, then thats not what iam looking for. I
wouldnt be paying you 50 to help me look for a company to do this, i
could have just looked in the yellow pages for that.the reason i went
on Google answers is because you guys think outside the box and are
smart researchers. so find me a way to get what i need fast and
efficently with out highering another third party. i dont mind
spending some money but not in the thousands. that defeats the purpose
of coming to you for help. Like i said i woudl have just went to the
yellow pages or had a marketting consulting firm help me for that
amount of money.

Nancy,

I'm sorry my earlier post wasn't clearer. The cost I mentioned for a
mailing of this size was largely for the postage...which you seem to
already have in hand.

I don't know of any free sources for the type of information you are seeking.

Are you willing to purchase some mailing lists? If so, it would be
helpful to know what sort of price range you have in mind for the
lists.

For instance, you asked for every realtor in the US. One mailing list
house has a database of more than one million real estate agents, and
charges $70 per thousand names. Somehow, I rather doubt your
assistant is prepared to stuff a million envelopes, but perhaps I'm
misreading the situation.

If you don't want us to search for mailing lists, however, I'm not
quite sure how I can otherwise be of help, here.

Thanks,

paf

The professions you are wanting to target are all licensed by each
individual state, it's unlikely there's a free national list or
directory. There may be lists for sale, but they are not cheap.

I do mailers every month, I know how long it takes to prepare one.
Consider this, you have one assistant. Do you want to dump 50,000
names on her and let her take 2-3 months to get them out? I don't see
the problem of methodically farming each state one-at-a-time for all
three professions as your assistant is ready for more names, --I mean,
they can only get out so fast, it seems to me you're in a hurry to
slow down. The names will just sit there anyway.

I think the question should be ...what is the most efficient way to
farm names for these 3 professions, and how much should I offer the GA
researchers, PER STATE, to compile these lists for me. If you follow
those suggestions, your lists WILL get compiled, and quickly, as you
need them.

BTW, it would be difficult to isolate a specific type of attorney.

Cymthia Yeah obviously one suggestion can be get what you need every
state at a time, i dont mind that. I am actually not in a hurry, but
how can i retract that info from each state. Can you help identify
effcient ways. online or some other type of public dept regarding
these professions.

..."I need to get a list of every realtor, every Bankrupcty lawyer and
every CPA in the United States with their address.....for $50
bucks..."

I am not willing to begin to research this beyond just giving you some
general advice. I can tell from your clarification to my collegue
pafalafa-ga that you simply don't grasp what you are asking for. We
search public records every day, this is a huge job. You can save time
by renting a list, but you'll pay thousands of dollars. It will be
delivered to you in a perfect format for mailers.

When we search public records, we never know what we will find, what
if some of the state's records don't have addresses? I can easily see
this taking one day for ONE STATE, and at that rate I'd be at this for
nearly 2 months with no day off. Yes, we know how to search and find
things, and we are telling you it is not a reasonable request, by any
stretch.

Have your assistant sit down and try it for any state eccept the one
you reside in, it would take an inexperienced searcher several days to
do one state.

When all is said and done, and the mailer is out, come back here and
tell us how long it took to compile "a list of every realtor, every
Bankrupcty lawyer and every CPA in the United States with their
address" and tell us if YOU would do it for $50 bucks.

No offense intended here but I would not do ONE state for $50 bucks. I
can't speak for the other Researchers, but I think you will be able to
tell what they think by the impending silence swooping down on this
question.

Good luck with your project, it's a HUGE undertaking.

you need to relaX cymthia, all i asked was for advice and help. ok i
get it now. You act like i was insulting you by askig for this for
just 50 bucks. I am the first to understand what a persons time is
worth. i figuered my questions would take your researchers 20 min
online to find a website. I underestimated my task. My apologizes!
Never mind then. i guess i am in a dilemma because i am not ready to
spend in the tens of thousand. I dont need the whole list obvioulsy
now. Are you Familiar with any companies that i can speak with
regarding the info i am requesting.
