When Ben Zander, Conductor of The Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, and
best speaker in the world, speaks with audiences, he plays a piece of
music on his piano, I think it is Chopin, it is slow and moving and
when he coaches his audience to really listen to it, it moves them to
tears - what is the music, and where can I download it to listen to?

Hello.

I believe that you're thinking of the Chopin's E Minor Prelude.

From a transcript of one of Ben Zander's presentations to an audience:

"Presentation by Benjamin Zander
...Okay, so here we go into classical music. I'm going to play you a
piece by Chopin. I know a couple of you have heard me before and I
haven't actually found a better piece than this to do this. It's the
right length and everything. So you'll bear with me if you've heard
me do this piece before, but it's very beautiful. It's the Chopin E
Minor Prelude. Some of you may have played this piece. I'm sure you
have. It's playable, which is why I'm doing it. Because I'm not a
pianist. I'm a cellist. [plays the piece]."

From Fanfare Magazine, March/April 2004:

"During my presentations on leadership I play music, have people sing,
and get them deeply inside a piece of music, so they can follow it
completely. It is not uncommon, after having explained and played a
piece like Chopin?s E-Minor Prelude, to see several audience members
wiping away tears."

search strategy:
"benjamin zander" "on the piano" chopin
zander "E-Minor Prelude" chopin

I hope this helps.
