This typically occurs on newer Pentium 4 computers running WindowsXP.
When WindowsXP installs the AirCard hardware, it installs the Sierra
Wireless Multifunction Parent on an interrupt [IRQ] greater than 15.

Instructions to resolve Code 10:

1.Verify that the Sierra Wireless AirCard 550 PC Card Parent is using
an IRQ greater than 15. This can be done by opening Windows Device
Manager, expanding the Multifunction adapters section, right clicking
the Sierra Wireless AirCard 550 PC Card Parent, selecting properties
and then the resources tab. If the Resources settings show an IRQ
greater than 15, proceed to step 2.

2.Remove AirCard 550 from your computer.

3.Download Air550.sys File Attachment from the bottom of this
resolution and save to your desktop

4.Copy Air550.sys file into: \windows\system32\drivers [this location
could also be: \winnt\system32\drivers] depending on the users laptop.
If you are copying the Air550.sys into the correct folder, you will be
prompted to overwrite the existing file.

5.Insert The AIrCard 550 card and this should clear the Code 10 in Device Manager.

NOTE: Sierra Wireless will be incorporating this fix into future Watcher releases.
