Question ID: 437650
Considering you have a damage range of 350-400; You recieve a damamge
bonus from attack power of 50; therefore you now look at 400-450
damage per hit. How is critical strike damage calculated? I hear
people say its x2 damage thus ending up being 800-900 critical damage
range but others say its x3. Please help me clarify this /w proof.

Hi osucnam

according to WoWWiki
"For melee attacks (physical; ranged and close combat) with weapons,
the chance to crit is based on agility and critical strikes deal 200%
normal damage."
http://www.wowwiki.com/Critical

however there is another suggestion that the multiplier varies between ~1.3-2.0
