i dont remember very much about this show but i remember it being one
of my favorites i have failed to meet someone who knows what i am
talking about so if someone out there can help me i would realy
appreiciate it the only thing i remember is that they lived in a
castle and the woman would the mirror who was the fairest of them all
and a funny black man would come out into the mirror and say it sure
aint you... please help this has been driving me crazy for years

Hello.

The show was "The Charmings." It ran on ABC in 1987-88.  Paul Winfield
played the wisecracking man in the mirror.

"Paul Winfield's Magic Mirror steals the show, working as the perfect
sidekick for Judy Parfitt's Queen Lillian..."

The funny black man who who played the Magic Mirror and who would say
"it sure ain't you..." was Paul Winfield. He passed away on March 7,
2004 of a heart attack.
