Is there an industry standard regarding the size of call centers and
the 'span of control' for the Sr. Person running the call Center? We
have an HR Shared Services Call Center and are interested in gathering
data to support our Operational staffing needs.

Also looking for Examples of call centers that have over 500 people
working in one building and the management structure used to support
these larger groups of employees.

Hmmm... I would Google the words "Large Call centers in India"
Then I would contact some compaines in Inda for the data you are looking for.
