It appears as though the subfloor composition and method of fastening to the floorcovering is a component in the acoustical rating. Do you have a particular subfloor in mind? Do you already have certain categories of coverings in mind? -AI |

The ISO 717 standard has a controlled substrate, allowing the accoustical rating of the tile to be tested. I'm looking for ISO 717 measures on Laminates, carpet, rubber tile, VCT and vinyl sheet goods. |
