It appears as though the subfloor
composition and method of fastening
to the floorcovering is a component
in the acoustical rating. Do you
have a particular subfloor in mind?
Do you already have certain categories
of coverings in mind?

The ISO 717 standard has a controlled substrate, allowing the
accoustical rating of the tile to be tested. I'm looking for ISO 717
measures on Laminates, carpet, rubber tile, VCT and vinyl sheet goods.
