Can you please provide a site that has a listing of meetings or
conventions in the USA
for dental benefit managers in 2006 (Feb - Dec) ?
How many dental benefit managers are there in the USA?
Is there an association for dental benefit managers?
Can you put me in touch with a provider of a mailing list of addresses
to these dental benefit managers so that i could buy the list and mail
a promotional brochure to them? |

The National Association of Dental Plans seems to have most, if not
all, the information you need. But access to it involves either
buying information separately, or joining the NADP to gain full
access.
Their members directory can be purchased in full for $195:
http://www.nadp.org/page.asp?strLoadModule=store&lngCategoryID=8
and note the blurb about mailing lists: "If you are interested in
renting the NADP database, please email info@nadp.org "
Membership in the organization will give you access to additional
information about the size and scope of the dental benefits market.
Is this the sort of information you need?

Hello "pafalafa-ga" --
your answer(s) to my questions are excellent. As far as I can tell,
at the moment, your work is done here. I was a little surprised and
moderately embarrassed that given my research I never stumbled across
this site. Obviously my internet search strategies need help. Is it
fair that all my questions were answered within one website that $100
is more than sufficient and that $50 would suffice? Please advise.
Not that I am not satisfied with the work/answer. Just thought I
would ask. Nonetheless I give you a 5-star rating.
Thank you,
Chris

Chris,
I'm glad that the information I provided hit the nail on the head (or
the filling in the tooth!...Ouch!).
Since no formal answer has yet been posted, the price offered is up to
you, and since you seem like a fair-minded person, I'm sure I'll be
satisfied with whatever you choose.
The process for adjusting the price is easy, and can be seen here:

Change your question price
You can change your price at anytime as long as your question is not
currently 'locked' and being answered by a Researcher. To change your
question price, go to "My Account," select "My Unanswered Questions"
and click on the question with the price you want to change. Then
click on "Change Question Parameters" to modify the price.
=====
By the way, I tried a number of searches for this, but the one that paid off was:
[ "dental benefit" association ]
which had the NADP site in the top few results.
Once you make your final choice as to price, let me know, and I'll
post my information as an answer to your question.
Cheers,
paf

Hi Paf --
I've changed the parameters to $50 - I hope that is cool with you. I
cant believe that you search was [ "dental benefit" association ] -- I
mean, I must have tried everything under the sun, but that. I kept
getting managed care, and pharmacy benefit managers, etc. Then I
tried dental and I got a bunch of magazines. I feel like such an
"idiot" - quoted like Napolean Dynamite. Thanks for all your help.
And please consider your link/ answer as complete. Again, 5-star
rating!
Cheers!
