I've using Microsoft Word 2003. I'm inserting pictures into a document, then repositioning them as appropriate. This started off fine, but now it doesn't work the same as it did. Initially when I inserted a picture from file (a jpg or gif) it came up with the circular handles around it that allowed me to move and resize the image within my document. However now when I try and insert an image, there's just the small black squares in the corners. It appears at the top of my page and I can't move it anywhere. What have I done, and how can I get it back into the format/mode where I can easily move it about? Thanks for any help. Steve | |

Hi nakmeister, I'm glad I could help. Here it is again for your convenience: Single click on the picture to highlight it. On the toolbar, go to Format > Picture. Choose Layout, then Square (or Tight). Click OK. Now you should be able to move the picture around the page. Best regards, Rainbow |
