This would be impossible to know since our voting pattern is private. Are you looking for a POLL of this type of question? |

According to this EKOS poll on Jan 21 on page 7: http://www.ekos.com/admin/articles/21Jan2006Background.pdf Conservative had the support of 40.1% of men and 34% of women with a avg support of 37.1% of those who intended to vote(Actual popular support for the Conservatives ended up at 36.3 according to http://www.ctv.ca/mini/election2006/national_results/) There was a 64.9% voter turnout... This many people voted 14 736 125 If women voted as a percentage of their representation in the country (51% is female according to the CIA World Factbook) then 51% of 14 736 125 voters was female which would be 7 515 424 women voting.... Based on results of the election that would give you the following breakdown: 34% of 7 515 424 = 2 555 244 women voting Conservative. Again...there are alot of assumptions used here...you cannot know the real answer as you ballot is private and not tracked by gender. Hope this all helps! |
