While driving from WInston-Salem to Raleigh-Durham today I heard an indie rock song that had a final refrain consisting of voices overlapping two phrases: "That's what I heard" and "We understand where you're coming from." Can you identify the artist, album & song title? |

Seeing as no researchers have picked this up yet I thought I'd give it a shot... This search could be difficult, as the second line of "We know where you're coming from" is probably considered backup and not actual lyrics, so may not appear in a list of the lyrics of this song. Could you tell me if a woman or man sung the song, and anything else at all that you recall - tempo, beat, any other lyrics? Thanks! ~* Schylaar *~ |

Male singer. Medium tempo, no electronics, semi-plaintive tone to voice. Hope this helps. |

Why not call the station and identify the time you heard the song...they could provide you with their playlist for that approx time. |

The song you are looking for is "Harness and Wheel" by the band The Kingsbury Manx. It is the open track on the record titled "The Fast Rise and Fall of the South". -Mike Neuman |
