Who composed "Raise Bild"?

Dear fabiete,

I assume you mean the German 'Reisebild' od 'Reisebilder'. There is,
however, only one work of music with such a name, and that is
accordeon music. Is that possible?

Regards,
Scriptor

That particular piece seems to be non-existent on every search engine
I tried, including several Classical music ones and even the Library
of Congress didn't find anything.
A quick translation on Babelfish reveals that the title "Raise Bild"
is german for "Raise Picture", but even repeating the searches
uncovered nothing.
Do you have any more information, such as if and when it has been
performed lately and by which orchestra?

Hello again Fabiete!

First of all, immense thanks to Scriptor.
With his second spelling of "Reisebilder", I found the work on All
Classical [ http://allclassical.com ].
According to the above site, the composer is Friedrich Kiel who wrote
this title for Piano and Cello.
The page with the correct information is here [
http://allclassical.com/cg/acg.dll?p=acg&sql=3:54018 ] - you may also
find it useful to visit the main page and type the new spelling into
the search box.

That's not all though, the All Classical site contained a link to CD
Now : [ http://cdnow.com/switch/from=cr-9635397-1/target=buyweb_purchase/itemid=418347
], where you can purchase the complete album by this composer for
$17.97!
You may also wish to have a listen to a Windows Media sample of this
title : [ http://cdnow.com/cgi-bin/mserver/SID=1542405846/pagename=/RP/SHARE/soundclip.html/UPC=6062307332/disc=01/track=08/source=wmf
]

I am very confident that this is the correct composition because there
were no other matches *anywhere*, if you can confirm this - may I
suggest that Scriptor shares the question price?

Thankyou for such a challenging question!
errol-ga.
